Sorry I didn't get the newsletter out on Monday. I was having problems transferring my newsletter to open at school. I used Microsoft Publisher, but then I couldnt get it to transfer to a pdf file so that I could pull it up and open it. Anyway, please look at the newsletter that was sent home Tuesday. It has alot of important info.

U of A!

Did anyone watch the U of A game?! I didnt get to watch, but listened on the radio. I think Foles did an awesome job. He can actually get us up on the scoreboard a couple times. He was what we needed all along. Maybe Stoops will actually admit it now. Who knows what would have happened against Iowa if we could have scored just a couple more times.

Field Trip

Our field trip to Apple Annie's is Tuesday! Please have your child wear a red LPA shirt or collared red shirt with pants and tennis shoes.

Hi! I forgot to put the bonus word on the spelling words list. Opps! If you think your child is ready, the word is "now." If it gets too stressful for your child, just forget about the word, and try again next week. Let me know if you have any concerns or questions!

By the way... if you receive a paper in your child's yellow folder that has any marks by me on it (i.e. smiley face or a sticker or written comments) it is a graded paper and yours to read and keep.
